About Us
At artWORKS, we encourage teens to express themselves through silk screening, graphic design, print design, photography, studio recording, video editing, graffiti art, spoken word/poetry and other visual and performing arts.
We creatively engage location youth to improve academic
performance, deepen cultural awareness, develop positive social skills, and teach creative pursuits
that matter in school…as well as the real world.
We strive to provide positive alternatives to destructive behavior for the region’s most at-risk
teens, as well as engage any middle or high school student in a passion for the arts.
artWORKS is a collaboration of Learning Works Charter School, Armory Center for the Arts,
Project Connect and Flintridge Center.
